WE NEED YOUR HELP

We all have a mom, dad, grandparent, family member or close friend that has needed help as they age – whether that’s something as simple as going to the grocery store or picking up their medication for them. But did you know that 38,000 Jacksonville seniors live alone on less than $18,000 a year? Many of them don’t have the same support networks that we often take for granted and have needs that go unanswered.

Hart Felt Ministries responds to these calls of silent desperation and helps nearly 550 local seniors every year – but at any given time there are at least 400 people waiting for assistance. We rely on our amazing donors and volunteers make it possible for Jacksonville seniors to live independently by making needed repairs to their homes, wheelchair ramps for accessibility, or simply provide companionship.

Wheelchair Ramp Construction

Help build a quality wooden wheelchair ramp for someone who cannot leave their home due to one step or several steps that used to be so easy to maneuver before a fall, an amputation, or chronic pain set in. We provide the volunteers and a licensed contractor to draw the plans and oversee the project and YOU help by paying for the lumber and hardware.
